Low power modes
This application note gives an overview of the CA-821X IEEE® 802.15.4 transceiver modem low power modes, how they can be programmed and used in combination with a host microcontroller (MCU). It explains the different levels of low power modes, the wake-up conditions and the required steps to re-initialise the CA-821X for normal operation. Code examples (in C) are given independently of the host MCU.

PCB Design
This application note is intended to be used by design engineers to ensure that the design and layout of the CA-821X 2.4 GHz IEEE® 802.15.4 transceiver modem conforms to specification.

Keysight Test Setup
This application note explains how to set up Keysight test equipment for IEEE® 802.15.4 phy conformance testing. The following Keysight test equipment, or similar, is required:

• Signal Generator: Keysight EXG N5172B Vector Signal Generator
• Signal Analyser: Keysight N9020A MXA
